(i) Institutions/Organisations

The School of Education Technology, Jadavpur University keeps a close linkages with IIT’s, B.E. College, Viswa Bharati University, TTTI-Calcutta, Birla Industrial and Technological Museum, Calcutta.

The facfulty members of the school participated in delivering lecture series on CAI development process for the polytechnic teachers (organised by TTTI, Calcutta) and for the faculty members of the Computer Science and Engineering Department of various degree Engineering Colleges/Universities (organised by IMPACT project, sponsored by World Bank).

The faculty members of the School participated as resource person for development of video instructional packages for coountrywide Television Programme in the area of microprocessors produced by TTTI, Calcutta and TTTI, Chandigarh.

In 2004, Indira Gandhi National Open University(IGNOU) has signed a MOU with JU for Distance Education purpose

ii) Industrial and other Organisations

The School of Education Technology, Jadavpur University has sold Computer Aided Instruction (CAI) courseware packages to the HRD Divusion of Indian Oil Corporation Limited. The School in collaboration with CMC Ltd. organised training programmes for the personnel of Reserve Bank of India. CAI packages have also been developed for Coal India Limited. The school has also developed an Interactive multimedia package for CMC Ltd., the leading Computer Organisation.

International Academic Linkages

Since 1988, SET has close academic linkages with Institutions in India & abroad. There were several academic exchange programmes with Open University, UK, University of Strathclyde, MEDC, Scotland, University of Sussex, UK.

SET has successfully executed the Higher Education Link Programmes with University of Manchester, UK and Leeds Metropolitan University during 1998-2003 under the sponsorship of British Council.
